Rena Harris

Executive Director

Rena earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Oregon State University in 1996.  She spent the next seven years In Oregon working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities as a Direct Support Professional, House Manager, and Behavior Specialist.  In 2003, Rena returned home to Georgia and continued her career path, as a Client Services Coordinator, Program Manager and ultimately Division Director overseeing multiple services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community based settings.  Rena spent several years gaining a solid understanding of Georgia’s policies and procedures while becoming a dedicated advocate for individuals and families, as well as gaining an appreciation for shaping the careers of future leaders in the field.  In 2013, Rena earned her Master of Science Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. In May of 2016, Rena joined the Georgia Options team as Executive Director. Rena strongly believes that individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities should have the opportunity to live active, self-determined lives fully included within their chosen communities.

Jessica Murray

Finance Director

Jessica is an accounting school graduate from Georgia Southern University. She has experience in both public accounting with Warren Averett in Atlanta (with a non-profit specialization) and corporate accounting with Milliken & Company. She is currently attending the University of Georgia to pursue an Interior Design degree.  She loves to travel, spend time in the outdoors, and promote green living initiatives.

Flossie Ross

Flossie earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Spelman University. Along with experience working with individuals with intellectual and disabilities, Flossie has experience working with victims of domestic violence. She believes that people with developmental disabilities deserve respect and opportunities. She enjoys being a mentor to direct support professionals and shaping them into future leaders.

Dr. Joseph Washington

Human Resources Director

Dr. Joseph E. Washington Jr. has more than 10 years experience in human resources and management. Dr. Washington received his Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from Clemson University in 2005 and his Master’s Degree  in Human Resources Management (Keller School of Management-2009) and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration (University of Phoenix-2011).  Dr. Washington finished up his educational career by obtaining a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management (Capella University-2015).   As an advocate for community service, Dr. Washington takes pride in serving through his local community church and being a member of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity service organization.

Logan Barrett

Quality & Compliance Director

Logan joins Georgia Options from Oregon, by way of Wyoming. She has experience as a Program Manager and Case Manager for adults with developmental disabilities, and has a Masters Degree in Management. She is trained in Customized Employment, Supported Employment and Person Centered Planning. She is also an animal lover. Logan will be our Person Centered Philosophy champion, will ensure that our services are evidence-based and in line with best practices, and will be ensuring that Georgia Options is in compliance with regulations while maintaining mission and vision integrity.
